6.1.1. Module 'Voyageplanning' - web application
A voyage
In the Port of Antwerp, each route that an inland vessel travels between 2 berths is called a voyage.
A voyage that starts outside the Port of Antwerp and has a destination in the Port of Antwerp is called an arrival voyage.
A voyage that starts outside the Port of Antwerp and has a destination outside the Port of Antwerp but passes through the Port of Antwerp is called a transit voyage.
Every voyage that follows after the arrival voyage is called a next voyage.
A stay
The collection of an arrival voyage and next voyages is called a stay.
A stay therefore starts with the arrival voyage and ends with the last next voyage that has a destination outside the Port of Antwerp. For correct billing of the stay, it is important that the arrival voyage and all next voyages until the last one form a neatly connected chain.
