After pressing the ‘Select Lock' button, APICS Barge offers an overview of locks that are available, based on the time of departure from the berth you specified.

Choose the lock of your preference from the overview and enter your ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) at the lock.

IMPORTANT:

  • The starting time of the lock shown is the time when the inland barges will enter, this time may differ from the actual starting time if it concerns a lock with sea going vessels.

  • Your ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) at the lock must be before the shown start time of the selected lock.

  • APICS Barge only checks whether there is still enough space in the lock of your preference after you have sent your request.
